Yellow Hat Meeting

We had our first Yellow Hat Meeting, it was nice outside so we had the meeting while we watched Miss Michelle as she was learning to carve.

We mostly got to know each other, Hitty Violet just moved here this past week so it was nice to hear about her home.

She really loves herbs and was telling us all the things we could do with the lemon balm Miss Michelle has growing in her flower garden.

I think we had a good meeting and we all decided we would read the redwall books over the summer.

We all thanked Hitty Polly for getting all the yellow hats made for us.

  5. What a cute bunch of Hitty girls. I am trying to figure out who is who here. Hitty Pepper must be the Connie Hardt, what names are Raikes, a Bruce & Fung Hicks Hittys. Did you carve the cute one on the bottom left? She a cutie, too.
    Thanks Heaps,
Celia C and the Sixes Community Hittys.

  6. Thank you, Hitty Polly is from Raikes made in china, Fung made the Bottom one with the mushroom dress Hitty Violet, she's really into herbs. Oh that one on the left at the bottom came all the way from Russia she was carved by Inna Razuvaeva. I wish I could carve that good. Maybe one day. At least its nice to see all the different ways people carve Hitty. Thanks for stopping by!

  7. Michelle, My very first Hitty was a Raikes from China. She arrived in January (2003 or so) and her name is Hitty Jan. She was my only Hitty for about 5 years, until I went to my first Hitty gathering in Guthrie, Oklahoma. I came home with 3 more! (One from Fung and Bruce Hicks, Hitty Fung. I haven't seen one from Inna Razuvaeva from Russia (that I remember). Is she Hitty Cricket Lady? If you keep working on carving, you will become a good carver. It's amazing that a doll comes out of the pieces of wood.
